NOTE: Presentation schedule and presenter code will be provided after submission deadline.
A total of 20 minutes will be allocated for each presentation. It is advised that you leave the last 5 minutes for a Q&A session.
Please save your file(s) in a USB and deposit it at the Registration Desk prior to your presentation session. Name your file with ‘your presenter code_your name’ (i.e: O-04_aqilah.ppt). To avoid confusion, please do not have any other files on the USB.
Presenting authors are required to present their poster in a guided poster session on the day of the conference. The authors will have the opportunity to give a 3-minute summary of their poster before engaging directly with the participants for questions and discussions. Posters are also eligible to be published as full paper in the proceedings.
Please prepare your poster based on the following guidelines:
Size: A0; Height: 1189 mm, Width: 841 mm, Portrait layout. Title should be in bold. Please include author(s) name, affiliations and e-mail addresses. A poster should be easily readable from a distance of 1.5 metres, with a line spacing of 1.5 or 2. Headings should be 25% larger than normal text. Simple use of color can add emphasis.
Suggested font sizes are (for the A0 format):
Main title: 78 pt (bold, upper case)
Author: 72 pt (bold, title case)
Affiliation(s): 48 pt (normal, title case)
Email address: 36 pt (bold)
Subheading: 36 pt (bold upper case)
Body of text: 24 pt (normal)
Smaller fonts may be used in citations and acknowledgement.
Your poster should include your project title, authors (name, affiliation, email), objectives, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and acknowledgments (if necessary). Arrange materials in columns and use ‘white space’ to help direct readers logically through your poster. Posters should be self-explanatory but not comprehensive. You should supplement and elaborate the major points on your poster during your conversations with the participants.
